Aprilaire Humidifiers have very few problems. Some problems occur because of neglect to do improper maintenance.  If you ever need any parts for your humidifier we have them or can get them. All parts listed on this page are in stock.

The Aprilaire Stock #45 Evaporative Media Pad Below fits Aprilaire Humidifier Model: #400

It is recommended that you replace the Aprilaire 400 Humidifier Pads twice annually. That is why they are sold in twin packs of two.

 Above Stock #45 Panels are sold in twin packs. 

Purchase them by the case of three twin packs and save $6.00 That is Six Aprilaire Water Panels!

Aprilaire Model #4040 Water Solenoid Valve:

The Aprilaire Model 4040 Water Solenoid valve pictured below is the exact replacement valve for Aprilaire Humidifier Models: 220, 224, 400, 440, 550, 558 560, 568, 600,700, 760 768:

This is a 24 volt valve. 4040 valve comes with a 4004 strainer installed in the inlet side of valve.

Supco Self Tapping Water Saddle Valve

*If you loosen the compression nut that goes into your water solenoid valve and no water comes out then there is a good possibility that you need a new saddle valve. The saddle valve has become stopped up with lime deposits or debris.  Please make sure your main water supply is turned off in your home, and the pressure is relieved from the pipes by opening a faucet or two before you attempt to remove the saddle valve. You will get an unexpected shower and a mess if you don't turn off the main water supply and relieve the pressure.  Below is a picture of one of my favorite saddle valves with an opportunity for you to purchase. I especially like it because it is already screwed into the base and ready to go! Pipe dope or Teflon tape is not needed to keep it from leaking.
